He began his career in newspapers, working for The Times in London, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and The Adelaide Advertiser. His years as a press photographer taught him how to work with people and think on his feet to capture the moment.
In 2000 Tony went freelance, working for Getty Images covering news and sport. Since 2005 he has combined his passions for food, wine and the arts in his work. His pictures appear most regularly on InDaily, Adelaide’s independent online news source, and have been published in magazines and newspapers around the world. His counts among his clients Nike, Apple, the Adelaide Festival, Discovery Channel UK and other major arts organizations and festivals.
He has collaborated with chefs on cookbooks, the most recent being “Fire and Flavour, Nu’s Food” with Thai chef Nu Suandokmai, and he has more books on the way.
